Rules of the game Walcheren
Do you live in the municipality of Middelburg, Veere or Vlissingen? Here you will find the most important rules of the game for Wmo transport in Walcheren.
How do you apply for Wmo transport?
You apply for a Wmo transport pass at the municipality where you live. The municipality assesses whether you are eligible for Wmo transport. After approval you will receive a Wmo transport pass with which you can book rides. With a valid Wmo transport pass you can make use of door-to-door transport within the arrangements of your municipality.
How does it work?
You reserve a Wmo ride by phone with the Transport Control Centre via 088-2358050, preferably as early as possible and at least 2 hours before departure. When booking, you provide, among other things, your departure address, destination and any aids. To ensure that transport is pleasant and safe for everyone, a number of rules of the game apply:
- Reserve your ride at least 2 hours in advance.
- Make sure you are ready 15 minutes before the agreed departure time.
- Always bring your Wmo transport pass with you.
- When reserving, indicate if you are travelling with an aid, such as a wheelchair.
- Are you unexpectedly unable to travel? Then cancel your ride as soon as possible.
- During the ride, follow the driver's instructions and always wear a seatbelt.
